This delightful grade II listed cottage in Heacham was previously a farm worker's cottage, built using reclaimed 18th century bricks and chalk blocks in 1913. Primrose Cottage is a pleasant blend of the traditional and contemporary and is beautifully furnished and decorated. It is situated by St. Mary's church, which houses the oldest bell in East Anglia. The church tower is visible from the pretty garden. The cottage is within easy walking distance of local shops, pubs, restaurants and only 3 minutes walk from the Norfolk Lavender fields. The accommodation is spacious and has immense character, comprising of a kitchen, dining room and living room downstairs. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and bathroom. There is also outside storage for beach gear etc. This year there is the adition of a lovely wodden summer house. Sleeping 6 with plenty of room, the property is also very well-equipped with widescreen TV, DVD player, stereo, games console, books and games. The living room is complete with a log burner great for cosy nights winter and summer. This a truly beautiful cottage. It is light and airy, making any guest feel relaxed in a very short time.

Heacham is a beautiful village close to the Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton. There are all the local services that you will need. There are two beaches and you are in easy reach of many other villages along the coast and the Queen's house at Sandringham. Heacham is also steeped in history - there is evidence of people living here for the last 5,000 years. A famous historical visitor to Heacham was Pocahontas who married a Heacham man called John Rolfe and spent time here in the early 1600s. You will find Pocahontas on the village sign. Heacham is a great base for any break at any time of the year.
